1. Self-defense course will include the ABC's of personal safety such as basic stance and body positioning, striking surfaces and target areas and defensive skills. Please come in athletic shoes and easy to move in clothing.

Transport yourself to a different time and place. The Wings Over the Rockies exhibits allow you to get up close and personal with historic aircraft, artifacts and memorabilia and explore the future of aviation and space through immersive events and realistic flight simulators. Uncover the amazing history of powered flight and the incredible scientific advancements of the last century. The Aviation Tour covers historical context and science for a holistic view of heavier-than air flight. Guests will be divided into groups of 15-20 guests per guide upon arrival for a guided tour of the museum and exhibits. After the formal tour, guests can experience a 10-minute session (+ 5 minute orientation) on The FlyThisSim TouchTrainer® FM210 (dual seat cockpit) and the Redbird Xwind on a first come first serve basis. Guests must be age 8 or older to fly in this simulator.
After the formal tour, guests can walk right next door for a Colorado Craft Brewery visit at Lowry Beer Garden. Celebrating Colorado’s craft beer culture, the Lowry Beer Garden is nestled in its very own park with more than 9,000 square feet of outdoor garden area, vast open-air seating, and an inviting covered pavilion. The communal Oktoberfest-style picnic tables that collectively can accommodate up to 500 guests, foster an environment of community and conviviality. The Garden offers a thoughtful draft and bottled beer selection with a focus on Colorado and handcrafted brews. The Lowry Beer Garden also serves up your favorite casual fare with locally-made gourmet brats & sausages, freshly-baked pretzels, house-ground burgers, hand-cut fries and chef-created salads. Guests can enjoy their favorite craft beer with (1) provided Beer/Drink Ticket. Additional drinks and food on own.
2. Red Rocks, Denver & Beyond

This tour is the perfect way to kick off your time in Denver, as it will give you a real feel for the city from a local’s perspective. You’ll get the lay of the land in the city and help from a knowledgeable local guide to decide where to spend the rest of your free time in Denver. Plus, a bit of mountain majesty to top things off. This trip begins with a 30-minute scenic drive to the iconic Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater. We’ll drive through the park, take in the stunning rock formations, and get out to explore the world-famous amphitheater. We finish up with a quick stop at Lookout Mountain for a breath of crisp mountain air and panoramic views of Denver, Golden, and the stunning Rocky Mountains. Heading back into Denver the tour takes you past Denver’s highlights like the Denver Performing Arts Complex, Colorado Convention Center, Civic Center Park, and Denver Art Museum. You’ll view funky murals in the thriving River North (RiNo) Art District, pass Coors Field, and time permitting grab coffee at a local favorite hotspot.
If you think of Red Rocks Park as just a beautiful place to see a concert, think again! All around you are 738 total acres of deer, dinosaurs, pines and prairie, geological wonders and spectacular vistas. At 6,450 feet above sea level, Red Rocks Park is a unique transitional zone where the Great Plains meet the Rocky Mountains. The diverse environment allows visitors to see plants, birds, and animals of both regions. Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a geological phenomenon – the only naturally-occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheater in the world. From Sting and The Beatles, to opera stars and U2, every artist aspires to play on this magical, spiritual, and emotional stage. The land on which Red Rocks Amphitheatre resides is the traditional territory of the Ute, Cheyenne, and Arapahoe Peoples. The Ute, Cheyenne and Arapahoe are among the 48 contemporary tribal nations having an historic presence on the land that makes up the State of Colorado.

Health at High Altitude
• Eat plenty of potassium and carbohydrates, such as whole grains, fruits, veggies, etc.
• Drink plenty of water
• Wear layers and comfortable shoes
• If coming from a lower altitude, avoid alcohol for the first 48 hours of your visit and get plenty of rest
• Avoid overexertion before your body can adapt to the lower oxygen and dryness in Colorado. Minimize physical exertion the first day or two of your visit
3. United States Air Force Academy Tour – Colorado Springs, CO

The United States Air Force Academy is short on air, but not on views. Located just north of Colorado Springs, at the base of the Front Range, the campus sits on 18,500 acres of breathtaking mountain panoramas. The youngest of five military service academies, the Academy boasts stunning mid-century modern architecture, state-of-the-art Division I athletic facilities, and unparalleled academic research centers. Here 4,000 exceptional young men and women from across the United States become future leaders in service to our nation. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a repeat guest, your guided tour by the cadets will give you an insight to this amazing campus and mission. Upon arrival at the base, guests will be divided into two tour groups. Starting at Arnold Hall and then the two groups will end the tour at the Barry Goldwater Visitor which is home to engaging exhibits, a movie theater, a gift shop, Among the site the tour will visit will include: Arnold Hall exhibits, athletic fields overlook, Honor wall, F-16, F-105, cadet memorial wall, cadet library, Gregory Hall and Madera Cyber Innovation Center overlook, Exemplar Hall, Mitchell Hall, F-4, F-15.
Buses will stop on the way to the Academy and guests will have the opportunity to purchase lunch on their own.

WAI Jazz With Wings Band
Imagine a group of musicians who are all passionate about aviation. Gather them together and you have the WAI Jazz With Wings Band.
Founded in 2004, the band represents a group of WAI members who enjoy the pleasure of playing in a band. The band members represent a broad spectrum of backgrounds including pilots, flight instructors, flight attendants, medical doctors, military personnel, musicians, schoolteachers, engineers, graphic artists, attorneys, students, and retirees.
