Whether you're supporting us in person or online, your time and talents help bring our mission to life. From energizing our presence at conferences and tradeshows to fostering community as a moderator for WAI Together, there’s a role for everyone.

WAI Together Moderator

Are you passionate about aviation and community building? We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteer moderators for WAI Together to help create a welcoming, engaging, and inclusive space for our members.

What Moderators Do 
Guide discussions, support virtual events, and help ensure our online community remains safe, vibrant, and inclusive.

Term Length 6 months

Time Commitment

  • Community Moderators: 3–5 hours per week

  • Virtual Event Moderators: 2–4 hours per month

Conference Volunteers

Our annual conference runs on the support of an incredible team of volunteers, and we are always grateful for your help.

To volunteer at conference you must be a registered attendee. When registering for conference simply answer the question "Are you interested in volunteering?" in the affirmative and you will receive a system e-mail with information on how to sign up. For any other questions, contact the Volunteer Coordinator(s) at volunteer@wai.org.

Please note: While we deeply appreciate every volunteer, conference volunteer roles do not include discounted registration.
