Women in Aviation's 100 most influential women in the aviation and aerospace industry
To celebrate the Centennial of Flight Women in Aviation,
International decided to take a different tack this year.
Instead of inducting just a few women into our Pioneer
Hall of Fame, we decided to honor the 100 most influential
women in the aviation and aerospace industries over the
past 100 years. Below are the women that were nominated
by you, the members, for this list. Although some of these
women are no longer with us, some of those still living
remain on the forefront of change in the aviation world.
Several have accepted our invitation to come and be honored
at our banquet Saturday, March 22. Please join us while
we celebrate these pioneering spirits and their accomplishments,
which have opened doors and unlocked whole futures for
those of us who follow them.
